Inside the sanctuary. It was hard to
believe that this was open to the sky when we arrived.

A view from the roof.

For late October, the weather wasn't too
bad. They received 60cm of snow the week after we left.

This is pretty much as we left it.
We were exhausted and the job wasn't finished, but much had been
accomplished during that week.

Ben and Dar from the Church, my hosts
from the first night. Dar coordinated the food for the team, and
did a great job.

Paul and Carolyn, from Australia via
Africa. Hosts and helpers.

Muriel and Claude, MCC missionaries to
Labrador. My hosts, and terrific people.

On our way to the airport we stopped for a
last look at the building, with frost sparkling on the roof. We
were torn between wanting to finish up the boarding and thankful to be
heading home.

Flying over Nova Scotia on our way home.
